This special lady is Freya, a young and eager Rottweiler. Freya came to the shelter looking for a home where she can relax and get acquainted with someone who understands her breed. Freya is a true sweetheart and has already made tremendous progress from her initial reservations. Freya can be a little uncertain around new people and tends to be more cautious meeting a male. Freya has done well being around other dogs, but food remains her one true love. Freya is an excellent leash walker and shows promise in learning basic commands. This beautiful girl has both a protective and compassionate instinct for those she becomes connected to. Just ask her favorite canine staff members and they’ll tell you! If you are interested in meeting Freya, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Complete an adoption application online to be pre-approved for adoption. If you do not own your home, bring consent from the property owner to have a dog on the property. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100.
