About Me: I'm Shelly and I am not a dog or a cat. I am a turtle and I am proud of it. As a matter of fact, I am a cold-blooded aquatic turtle so don't think about taking me home unless there is water involved. I'm thinking a pond with a log that I can crawl on for sunbaths. Sometimes I like to sink into the mud also. If you have a predator-proof pond at your place , that would be exshellent! I'm part of nature, Think of me more as part of your natural surroundings than a cuddly pet. Want to see me poke my head out of your pond? If so, come so the San Diego Campus and ask for Shelly the turtle. If you take me home, be prepared for many years together since turtles can live a long time.
