OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:Rufus is shy at first and then once he knows you, he is engaged and responsive with people. He is not a fan of fast movements or loud noises, so a home with older, respectful children would be best. He loves to play in the water and is independent. He can be rude/pushy with other male dogs, so a home without other animals or a female dog that is very mellow may be a good fit for him. He may chase a cat unless trained not to. He is responsive to verbal corrections and has a mid-to-low energy level. He can tend to get nervous in new settings, so a confident person would be very helpful for him.Weighs 60 pounds. $25 to adopt.
