Hi there, I’m Seashell. I am about 3 years old and am looking for a calm quiet place to call my own. I am shy when I first meet new people, but I really do love humans. I love to be petted and sit in their lap. I am more comfortable around women. I love other cats and I must go home with another kitty. It would be great for my confidence to have a kitty friend who will help show me around. I would do best in a home with children 12 years and older. Overall, I am pretty mellow. I am not really interested in toys but that could change when I am settled into a home. I really just want a warm bed and lowkey environment to hang out with my humans. You may notice my left eye looks a little different. I have decreased vision but it isn't bothering me so my vet said I don't need any treatment at this time. I am FIV positive, but don't let that deter you from considering me for adoption. Cats with FIV can often live long and normal lives, as long as they receive regular health care visits and a good diet. We make wonderful pets and are certainly deserving of a second chance!
